Google is reportedly planning to launch its Pixel 9a, the newest addition to its Pixel series. The company recently launched its latest smartphone series Pixel 9 lineup. It includes four models – Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
However, the company has not officially disclosed the features or specifications of the phone. But a recent leak has revealed a series of computer-aided design (CAD) renders that provide a glimpse of the phone’s design.

According to Android Headlines, in collaboration with well-known leaker OnLeaks, the design of the Pixel 9a moves away from the traditional camera bar that has become synonymous with the Pixel brand. Instead, the upcoming model features flash cameras along the rear panel, which are integrated into a sleek pill-shaped module that houses two camera sensors. The design of the Pixel 9a seems to be inspired by the LG V60 ThinQ, with similar side bezels and flat edges.

In terms of performance, the Pixel 9a is speculated to run on Android 15. Following the footsteps of its predecessor device, the brand will also provide seven years of software update support in this upcoming phone.
The Pixel 9a is expected to be powered by Google’s Tensor G4 processor, which is a notable upgrade from the Pixel 8a, which used the Tensor G3 chip. The Pixel 8a is expected to have similar features, including a 6.1-inch display, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, as well as a 4,492mAh battery and support for 18W wired fast charging.
Expected Google Pixel 9a Price In India
Currently, the Pixel 8a is priced at ₹52,999 for the 128GB variant in India and was introduced in early May. The Pixel 9a is expected to be officially launched around this time next year, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing development of Google’s Pixel smartphone lineup.
